Open LoadScan and tap the + button to start a new manifest (or open an existing one and tap Scan Item). Point your camera at the appliance's model/serial sticker — LoadScan will automatically detect the model number and look up the product.
For best results, hold the camera 6–12 inches from the sticker in good lighting. The sticker typically appears on the inside of the door, behind the appliance, or on a side panel.
If the AI can't confirm the scanned item is an appliance, it will dismiss the camera and automatically focus the Model Number field so you can type it in manually.
This usually happens with worn stickers, unusual label formats, or non-standard item types. Just type the model number and LoadScan will look it up from there.
Yes. On the item entry screen, tap the Model Number field and type it in directly. LoadScan will search the product catalog and return the best match, same as scanning.
The product catalog is regularly updated, but some less-common models may not be in the database yet. If a lookup fails, you can:
A manifest is a list of all appliances in a single load or truck. Each manifest has a title, an optional load reference number, and a list of scanned items with their model numbers, conditions, MSRP values, and your asking prices.
Manifests make it easy to track what you paid, what you're selling each item for, and your expected profit on the entire load.
Free accounts can create up to 3 manifests to try out the app.
Individual and Enterprise subscribers get unlimited manifests.
Open the manifest and tap the Share icon in the top-right corner. LoadScan exports the manifest as a spreadsheet (CSV) that you can open in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets, or share directly via Messages, Mail, or AirDrop.
Load Pricing mode lets you enter what you paid for the entire truckload and your target profit margin. LoadScan will calculate the minimum selling price needed for each item to hit your margin goal — so you always know your floor price before you price anything.
Yes. Tap any item in a manifest to edit its name, model number, condition (new, like-new, used, for parts), MSRP, and your asking price. Changes save automatically.
Open the manifest and tap the ⋯ menu (top-right), then select Mark as Sold. Sold manifests are kept in your history so you can reference past loads.
In the app, go to Settings → Change Password. A reset link will be sent to your email address. Tap the link, enter your new password, then sign back in to the app.
LoadScan allows one active session per account at a time. When you sign in on a new device, any other active sessions are automatically signed out. This keeps your data secure.
Email address changes require manual support. Contact us at support@load-scan.com with your current email and the new address you'd like to use.
Go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated manifests. This action cannot be undone.
If you have an active subscription, cancel it in the App Store before deleting your account to avoid future charges.
Yes. Go to Settings → Security and toggle on Face ID or Touch ID. Once enabled, you'll be prompted to authenticate with biometrics when opening the app.
Free Free Trial — up to 3 manifests to try the app, no credit card required.
Individual Individual ($19.99/mo) — unlimited manifests, full scanning, load pricing, and exports. For solo operators.
Enterprise Enterprise (5, 10, or 15 seats) — everything in Individual, shared manifests across your team, and invite codes for each seat.
Tap the upgrade prompt that appears when you hit the 3-manifest limit, or go to Settings → Membership in the app. Subscriptions are billed monthly through the App Store.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. To cancel, go to your iPhone's Settings app → [your name] → Subscriptions, find LoadScan, and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access until the end of the billing period.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select your LoadScan subscription to request a refund. Apple typically processes requests within a few days.
After purchasing an Enterprise plan, LoadScan emails you a set of single-use invite codes — one per seat. Share each code with a teammate. They create their account (or go to Settings → Organization → Join if they already have an account) and enter the code to join your team.
Yes. All members of an Enterprise organization share a manifest pool. Any manifest created by any team member is visible to the whole team — useful for tracking inventory across multiple people working the same load.
Manifests belong to the organization, not the individual user. If you leave an organization, the manifests remain with the org. Your account reverts to a personal Free account.
As the organization owner, go to Settings → Membership → Generate Invite Link. This creates a new set of invite codes for your remaining seats and re-sends them to your email. Previous unused codes are deactivated when new ones are generated.
Our team typically responds within one business day.
